Back Liposuction for Wedding Dress Fit
Q: I am on a workout regime but this area is giving me a hard time. I ‘m considering liposuction on my upper back (around my shoulder blades). Would that reduce my back fat to allow the zipper to close without appearing too tight?
A: Liposuction of the back bra roll and upper back is challenging, but possible. The most challenging part is managing expectations. While patients and surgeons both want the rolls in this area completely gone, this is typically not possible. Generally, you can expect a 60% improvement in this area, but most likely you will still have some residual roll – especially if you have excess skin in this area. Fat in this area is typically denser and more fibrous than fat in other areas and the back skin is firmly stuck to the tissues underneath. The other tricky issue with liposuction of the upper back is scar placement. I typically do not use incisions directly on the upper back because they would be visible when you wear backless tops, swimwear, etc. Patients with heavy back bra rolls with redundant skin may require excision of these rolls – generally this puts a visible scar in the middle of the back near the bra line. These are some of the options for you and your plastic surgeon to discuss.
Fat transfer to buttocks. What financial options do I have?
Q: I am 27. 5’11 210 pounds. I just lost 20 lbs with diet and exercise etc. However Seems like my butt and breasts were the first to deflate. I have never been really satisfied with my buttocks. what are financial options I have to complete this procedure with a good doctor and be able to have a good payment plan option. A: Every plastic surgeon is different, but we offer 2 different external financing options in our office. Both require a credit check. We also offer our patients the ability to make payments. We require a $500 non-refundable deposit to schedule surgery and require payment in full prior to your procedure.
Is it possible I can put a certain amount down, and do payments for a Tummy Tuck or Liposuction ?
Every office and physician will likely have different policies. I offer a variety of payment options at my Atlanta area office and surgery center. I work with financing companies including Care Credit. I also allow patients to book surgery with a small deposit and make payments on their own schedule. How Long After the Initial Consultation Would a Potential Customer Receive a Quote? How Long is the Quote Good For?
Q: I have decided to get a mommy makeover to improve my body after two kids 5 and 3. I recently started a new job at a small company and this year I do not have any vacation time. I calculated that I should have enough time accrued for a total of seven days in August 2014. My intent is to find a ps by the end of the year and secure a time in August 2014 by putting down my deposit but not have the sugary until August . Is this possible or is it to far in in advance? How long is the quote good for?
A: Every office will vary in terms of its procedure. In my office, we provide a quote at the time of consultation which is good for 30 days. At the time you book surgery, you pay a non-refundable deposit of $500 which locks in your quoted price regardless of when your surgery takes place. We have many financing options available.

VHD Liposculpturing of the Abdominal Rectus Muscles (ABS)

While the procedure itself is a tried and proven way to get a sexy midsection, it is also customized to each individual patient. As part of the preparation for the procedure, your ABS will be strategically marked to help guide the doctor through the sculpting process. This allows for greater visualization for more precise results.
The doctor can then use our advanced instruments to cause palpitations and contractions of each set of muscles to help quickly build the size and strength. Your doctor will focus on each area of the ABS including the upper, lower and outer muscle groups. Once these steps are completed, we will begin the ‘finishing touches’ of the procedure. This starts with focusing on the linea semilunaris, which are the tendons on the outer portion of the ABS. This can lead to an enlarged vaginal opening and decreased friction during sex. Surgical correction repairs the damaged tissue and restores the vaginal opening to its original size. It can also lead to more enjoyment during sex.

The outer vaginal lips, labia majora, can become stretched as a result of pregnancy or weight gain. When the weight is lost, the labial skin does not always contract leaving loose or sagging lips.

The outer vaginal lips can lose volume over time leading to wrinkling. There are a number of injectables that can be used to replace this lost volume. We commonly use a patient’s own fat from another area of the body for this purpose.

Sometimes the outer lips of the vagina do not come together (converge) above and/or below the vaginal opening. The lips can be pulled together surgically to create a more pleasing appearance.
Many women ask me about liposuction to reduce the fatty bulges above and around the vagina. These fat deposits can be unsightly in underwear, swimwear and when nude. Liposuction can be used to reduce the fat in these areas.
Procedure
The liposuction is performed using tumescent or ultrasound – assisted technique (VASER liposuction). In either case tumescent fluid (a mixture of sterile saline, lidocaine and epinephrine) is injected into the treatment area and then this fluid along with fat is removed using a small cannula. Small incisions are typically placed in the groin. Scarring is minimal due to the small size of the incisions and typically no suturing is required.

Dr. Jimerson has several options to use during the breast lift surgery, which will depend on your breast size and shape, the current position of your areola, how much your breast is sagging the quality of your skin.
Options include an incision around the areola; around the areola and then vertically down to the breast crease; and an incision around the areola, down to the breast crease and then horizontally along the breast crease. After the incision is made, the breast tissue is reshaped and lifted to enhance the breast contour and firmness. The nipple and areola is repositioned to a natural, more youthful position. If required, Dr. Jimerson will reduce the areolas by excising skin along the perimeter. Finally, excess skin is removed from the breast to make up for the loss of elasticity.
The incisions are then closed, and sutures are placed in layers deep within the breast tissue to provide support. In addition to sutures, Dr. Jimerson may use skin adhesives and surgical tape to close the incision.
You will discuss various anesthesia options with Dr. Jimerson, including sedation and general anesthesia. He will determine the best type of anesthesia based on the procedures, your health history and his preferences.

All incisions are used to insert the breast implant, regardless of the type used. They include periareolar incision, which is made around the areola.
The inframammary incision is made underneath the breast, in the area where it meets the body. In the transaxillary incision, access for the implant is made underneath the arm, in the armpit area.
There are two options for placing the implant; one is under the pectoral muscle, the other is right behind the breast tissue, over the pectoral muscle. This will depend on the type of implant, your body type, how much increase in size is desired and Dr. Jimerson’s preference.
Once the implants are inserted, the incisions are closed using sutures, surgical tape or surgical glue. You’ll be able to see the results immediately after surgery, but some swelling will be present.
