Q: Im 30 and have never had large objects, fisting, or any very large penises. I have one child and this is my vag when a smaller penis is pulled out

A: During pregnancy a lot of pressure is placed on the pelvic structures that hold the vagina in place and give it tone and support. That’s because as the baby grows inside of your womb, it pushes down and stretches out all those ligaments and muscles. After the baby is delivered those ligaments and muscles don’t always snap back into place the way they once were. It’s very much the way a balloon that has been blown up and deflated doesn’t look or feel exactly like a balloon that has never been inflated. The muscles around the vagina frequently separate during childbirth and often do not return to their original positions. This can lead to less friction during intercourse.

You have a couple of options to correct the issue. The first option is non surgical – Kegel maneuvers. I think every woman has been told by their gynecologist to do Kegel exercises in order to increase the tone of their vagina. The problem is that for most women, Kegel exercises are just not gonna cut it. It would be like a plastic surgeon telling patients to do sit ups and that would fix their tummies after childbirth. In both situations, the only solution is to surgically bring the muscles and tissue back to their original position.

Your second option is Laser vaginal rejuvenation performed under general anesthesia. We use a laser together with traditional surgical techniques to tighten the muscles and the pelvic structures around the vagina. This surgery also improves urination control because we are repairing everything that has dropped down during pregnancy. The smaller diameter of the vaginal vault will increase sexual response and enjoyment for both you and your partner.

Because you are having an issue with the size of your vaginal opening, I would recommend a perineoplasty. That is removal of a portion of skin between the anus and the vaginal opening. A lot of time this skin becomes stretched out during vaginal birth leaving it damaged. By surgically correcting this area we restore the vaginal opening to its original size. This often leads to more enjoyment during sex.

A: I advise my Brazilian Butt Lift patients not to sit or lay directly on their bottom for at least 2 weeks after surgery. There are several pillows and even some mattresses available that allow you to sit and recline without putting pressure directly on the treated areas. I prescribe pain medications to use for the first few days after surgery. Most patients are pretty comfortable with over the counter medication after that time. Lymphatic drainage massage is an important part of pain control and reduction of swelling after liposuction as well.

I have a huge clit. It’s really big and dangly. Not sexually active. I feels like it would interfer with the sexual life. I also don’t like the edge when it’s open. What form of cosmetic treatment should I seek?

Thanks for your question. Based on your photos, I don’t think you actually have clitoromegaly (an enlarged clitoris), but the hood (called the prepuce) and possibly your labia minora are enlarged. Reducing the amount of skin covering the clitoris is not only aesthetically pleasing, but many women find it increases sexual satisfaction as well by improving access to the clitoris during intercourse. Consider scheduling a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who has vaginoplasty experience.

Q: I am 17 years old about to turn 18 in a few months. I want the labiaplasty surgery because it is very hard everyday to look at. I get nervous in public when I think people are looking ā€œdown thereā€. I want the wedge method. I dont want it thin, i still want a little thickness. I cry a lot in the shower, it jiggles. Cant wear a bikini bottom, skinny jeans, or proper panties without adjusting or hanging out. I need to find a doctor that I can use for future use and won’t cut a lot of my labia off.

A: While the appearance of your vagina is certainly completely normal, you do have options to reduce the size of your inner lips – the labia minora. The procedure is called a labiaplasty. The labia minora are not removed, but they can be ā€œtrimmedā€ so that they fit within the outer lips (labia majora). This will eliminate the jiggle and they would no longer hang below the labia majora. Consider scheduling a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who is trained and experienced in the procedure. He or she can examine you and customize a surgical plan to meet your needs.

Q: Hi I’m 20 years old and I had 1 5 pound baby when I was 18 and ever since than I felt loose I don’t know why it just don’t feel tight I soak in hot water still not tight Sometimes I don’t get feeling idk if its because my child father small penis or what I’m writing to see if any doctor can tell me about how damage am I or how damage it look

A: The external appearance of your vagina is normal. The looseness you are experiencing is quite common after pregnancy and childbirth. During pregnancy the muscles of your vagina separate with the pressure of your growing womb. They can separate even more during a vaginal delivery. It’s not your fault and it can be repaired surgically rather easily. Much like a tummy tuck, the muscles and connective tissue of the vaginal vault (the area of the vagina that is deeper than the opening) can be brought back together and restored to pre-pregnancy tightness with a designer vaginoplasty. This should result in a much more satisfying sexual experience for you.
