Does Your Family Support Your Choice to Have Plastic Surgery?

Your decision to have Plastic Surgery could have a huge effect on your friends and family. Some may disagree on your choice to have Plastic Surgery and try and talk you out of your decision, while others may be supportive and stand by your side every step of the way. You will find that it will be difficult to convince some people that you are making a good decision by having Plastic Surgery. The decision is all yours and you don’t need anyone’s approval to have Plastic Surgery, nevertheless you will need support and care after surgery. It is always best to have the support of your family when you decide to have Plastic Surgery and a great way to gain the support is to educate them on all of the great benefits it will bring into your life and how wonderful it will make you feel.

On today’s episode of CurveLife TV, we welcome our patient from Fayetteville, North Carolina who is here accompanied and supported by her mother. She is 27 years old, weighing 155 lbs. and her height is 5’6”. We enhanced the beauty that she already has with 800 cc’s of fat in each buttock and 200 cc’s of fat in each hip.

Will Your Health Stop You From Having Surgery? Yes it Will See Why….

Plastic Surgery is more than just waving a magic wand and giving you a new body, its major surgery! So it’s necessary to maintain good health to be a candidate for Plastic Surgery.

On today’s episode of CurveLife TV you will watch how our patient was facing some health issues prior to her surgery. She was able to get her health under control and give herself a wonderful gift for her 47th birthday. Watch her experience from the day of surgery through her 1 week post-op appointment.

Are You a Candidate for Cosmetic Surgery?

A good candidate for Plastic Surgery is a person of good health, with reasonable expectations and someone who understands the possible risks that are associated with plastic surgery.

Some of the most common serious health problems that may disqualify you as plastic surgery candidate are Diabetes, Hypertension (High Blood Pressure), Anemia or any bleeding disorder, Rhuematological disorders, Immune System Deficiencies, Cancer, Heart Disease, and Severe Mental Disorders.

Smoking is a definite NO when it comes to having surgery! We require patients to stop smoking completely for 4 – 6 weeks prior to surgery and continue 4-6 weeks after surgery. Smoking constricts your blood vessels and restricts the binding of oxygen, which reduces the amount of oxygen that is available to your cells. You will not heal as well after your surgery without the necessary amount of oxygen in your cells for proper healing. Some risks associated with smoking are prolonged healing time, hypertrophic scarring, wound separation and skin necrosis (skin death). Smokers are also more likely to have complications during anesthesia and develop infections after surgery. Smokers have a higher risk of being hospitalized after surgery.

Mommy Makeover Takeover….See How This Mommy Feels About Her Makeover…

I am Jenean and in my 30’s with 3 kids. I was overweight and wanting to look and feel good again. I saw Dr. Curves on TV and did research. I talked to my hubby about what I wanted to do. And he agreed as long as the Dr was the best. In June I went for a consultation, and Dr. J said I needed to loose weight so I got on his weight loss program and began my journey. By February I was where I needed to be and I look and feel great now. I am blessed and very happy. Thank u

Mommy Makeover

For women, the joy of becoming a mother is unexplainable, however the affects that pregnancy may have on a woman’s body can be quite dramatic. There are several ways to correct the areas of the body affected by pregnancy, through exercise, a proper diet and surgical intervention or a combination of all three.
A typical mommy makeover is a combination of procedures that are individually customized to each patient’s needs with the goal of getting your pre-baby body back! The Dr. Curves Mommy Makeover is an empowering option designed to make you look better than you ever have! Even better than you did before you had babies!
Not only as a surgeon, but as a father and a husband Dr. Curves understand the changes that a woman’s body endures during pregnancy and childbirth. He also knows that no matter what diet program you try or what exercise routine you do, it won’t get rid of the loose skin and sagginess in your breast or abdomen and it won’t tighten those loose abdominal muscles.
Every woman’s body is affected differently by pregnancy and below are some of the options that we most commonly perform on our patients requesting a mommy makeover:

  • Dr. Curves Rapid Weight Loss Program (Lose up to 40 lbs. in 40 days)
  • Abdominoplasty/Tummy Tuck
  • Breast Augmentation
  • Breast Lift
  • Breast Reduction
  • Liposuction
  • Cellulite Reduction
  • ThermiRF Skin Tightening
  • Vaginal Rejuvenation (Surgical and Non-Surgical)
  • Brazilian Butt Lift
  • Fat Grafting to Butt/Hips/Breast
  • Arm Lift
  • Thigh Lift

Just like any of our procedures a thorough consultation is necessary to determine each individual patient’s needs so call now to schedule your consultation 678-205-8400 option 1. We offer in office or phone consultations for those patients outside of the Atlanta area. We look forward to hearing from you soon!

There is a phenomenon going on in the world of Plastic Surgey that we at Dr. Curves office call “Booty Greed”. In my 10 years of performing this procedure on thousands of patients many of them will return 2, 3, 4 even 5 times for different procedures and sometimes more of the SAME procedure; specifically more fat in the butt!!!

Patients will come in for a post-op appointment looking fabulous and amazing yet they still want more! They will be completely content with their results and still say “Dr. Curves can you make it bigger?”

Yes, I certainly can and yes it is safe! But it all depends on how much donor fat the patient has to transfer. Gaining weight may be needed for a second round of fat transfer, so keep that in mind if you are suffering from “Booty Greed”.
You should wait about 6 months after your first procedure to do any additional fat grafting as the fat settles and expands a lot of times in this time period.

More importantly, if you want a second round fat grafting make sure you choose a board certified Plastic Surgeon that does this often and is experienced. The scar tissue builds up after your initial procedure will make the subsequent procedures more challenging.

After being unsatisfied with the results from having Fat Grafting to her Butt and Hips 2 years ago, with a surgeon in Chicago, this patient came all the way to Atlanta to get her second round fat grafting to her butt and hips. This patient is 29 years old 5’ 2” and after gaining 30 lbs. for a total of 165 lbs. she received 1200 cc’s of fat in each buttock and 200 cc’s of fat in each hip.
